Moon Maid was purchased at Little King from Heather Eberth. She wasn't on their sales list but there was something about her that drew me to her. Moon has had 5 foals for me in 5 years. She is registered as grey, but has never had a gray foal for me nor before me, to my knowledge. She is in foal to Fallen Ash Scouts Dark Secret for late Feb. 2009. The two foals she has had by him are palomino, so this one stands a good chance of being the same. I have retained two of her daughters. Moon's foals are always correct and have beautiful heads. Boots is awell balanced mare with a pretty head, level tabletop top line and is correct in every way. Her 2005 gelding is a two time Reserve National Champion in halter and driving – as a three year old! He also has Top Five and Top Ten awards in AMHR Under in youth, amateur and open. She is in foal for March 2009 to Fallen Ash Farms Scouts Dark Design. If I had to pick from any stallion to breed Boots too, Design is the one. This should be a fabulous cross and should produce a foal destined for the show ring.
