Spellbound is a National Top Four in Single Pleasure Driving and a National Multiple Top Ten in Halter. He has a fabulous single pleasure movement which is passed on to his foals, together with a captivating Arabian presence. Spellbound is himself a producer of Champions and HOYS qualifiers.
Spellbound is overflowing with National winning blood. His pedigree reads like a Who's Who of the American Miniature Horse Industry.
On his sires side, L&D Scout is a Reserve National Champion Get Of Sire. L&D Scout has produced 2 National Grand Champions, 2 Reserve National Grand Champions, numerous National Champions and countless National Top Tens. L&D Scouts bloodlines are extremely coveted by many top American Miniature studs and upon his sires death, Spellbound sold within the USA for $25.000 USD
Spellbound's Grandsire is none other than 'Orion Light Vant Huttenest'. This stallion has produced a royal dynasty that dominates the show ring today. Orion Light Vant Huttenest has produced '8 National Grand Champions'!!
To put the icing on the cake, Spellbound's Dam 'Fallen Ash Farms Roses Are Blue' has produced a Reserve National Champion. And finally his Grandmother ' Fallen Ash Farms Wrapped In Roses' has produced a National Grand Champion and a Reserve National Grand champion out of only 7 AMHA foals.
Spellbound has returned to the show ring in the Uk after a break of 4 years, whilst covering mares in the USA at the Seahorse Stud with Ann Simmons. He is now available to a limited number of Uk and European proven mares. We are so proud of this stallion and are thrilled to have him live with us at Oakleigh.
