Oakleigh Miniatures is nestled within the tranquil Taw Valley, at the heart of the Devonshire countryside in the South West of England.

We are dedicated to the art of producing exquisitely refined Arabian & Thoroughbred type 'Pure Bred' American Miniature Horses. Our horses possess excellent conformation, balance, movement & versatility.

Our herd has been carefully selected from only the very best bloodlines in the history of the American Miniature Horse. The bloodlines we have dedicated our breeding program to are primarily from the legacy's of Boones Little Buckeroo, Glenns General Patton, Uno De Mayo & Flying W Farms Little Blue Boy. We beleive that with the Stallions and Mares we have selected for our breeding program, we are able to cross these bloodlines to create some of the most beautifully exotic Minature Horses to be found today & hopefully, one day to create a dynasty of our very own.

One of the trade marks of our stud are the beautifully sculptured heads of our Arabian types miniatures, another is the pure refinement and athleticism of both the Arabian & Thoroughbred types bred here at Oakleigh Miniatures.

Our stallions include Little Kings Russian Reigns, Bar B Supreme Legend & the beautiful up and coming son of ERL Voltaire, ERL Voltaires Hi Voltage.

We are retaining one of ERL Voltaires Hi Voltage's exquisite first colts ' Oakleigh Voltaires Mr Beau Jangles' out of our World Top 5 Mare Bar B Tinker Bell to enter our breeding program in 2012. I bought this mare specifically for this breeding and 'wow' did we get just what we ordered!! With his conformation, bloodlines and attitude, he is just too good to let go. This outstanding home bred colt will start his show career next spring, so look out for him in the show ring in 2011.

We know that a top show or future breeding horse is created at conception, and because of this, all our mares are as equally well bred as our stallions. As well as being proven champion producers, all are accomplished in the show ring in their own right.

All our horses are cared for with the greatest love and respect. They have access to pasture every day and warm comfortable stables by night. They are regularly wormed and seen by the blacksmith.

Our babies are well socialised and handled from birth. Foals purchased from Oakleigh Miniatures will know how to tie up and be lead on a head collar by the time they leave for their new homes. It is our aim to provide you with a happy, confident, outgoing and curious baby.
